Many of you have been curios why Suzzette's last name is different then her husband's - Michael Boggs.  Actually, it isn't.  Suzzette's name is actually Suzzette Boggs.  The story goes back to her days performing secular country music.  Several record labels were interested in Suzzette; however, there was concern about the similarity in names with country music artist Suzy Bogguss.  Suzzette and Suzy were also quite similar in appearance.  To avoid market confusion a name change was recommended.  For her "stage name", Suzzette chose to take her husband's first name, Michael, for her last name.  As God called Suzzette into music ministry she chose to keep the "Suzzette Michaels" name, as she saw the ministry as a partnership with her husband Michael. 
           Today Michael is an active part of Suzzette's ministry, performing much of her booking and running sound at most performances.
